    Constructive feedback:
If you are going for a design that works well for flippers id suggest cutting the horns down a bit. Darth vaders head will pinch the shit out of your fingers in a combo. Maybe by about half and round the point out. other than that she looks good to me  i look forward to seeing a prototype when its ready.

    Pardon my ignorance..

Pardon my ignorance, I did look again at the OP's post..but it's still looks like a computer "rendering" to me...is it not? am I missing something?

Is the pic (of parts laid out) Ti slabs that will be milled out?

Maybe on my small phone screen I am not seeing what I should? Are those scales in the pic , or are there 'channel' handles that I am missing/ not seeing?

    agree.
accentuated horns are from the old mindset of balisong, take them down a bit, it allows you to use more of the handle.

How's this different from the Dogbite Balisong Kit? The design is pretty much the same.

    ***Not knocking it...just curious

Well if its from five.years ago it predates the dogbite and the basic kit on usaknifemakers for one.

That said I would love to see how they turned out five years ago.

If were offering constructive criticism - get rid of the holes on the side of the channels.

I think those are the ones from years ago, channel ones look different. They came before the dog bite I'm pretty sure

holes on the sides shouldn't compromise strength if they're spaced evenly, especially if it's titanium and the lockup depends on tang pins open and closed.
A big problem with doing a channel bali that's a little longer is the added weight. 4.5 oz sounds like a sweet place to be. Trust me, I've been working on it.:ropeman:

BMs and PCCs had holes on the sides

I retract my comparison to the Dogbite Balisong Kit and "too many holes" comment.

Please don't ban me from the waiting list:thumbsup:

Maybe he's got a 5axis CNC what do I know.

With a standard mill those holes on the sides would require re clamping/fixturing in addition to creating additional production steps they detract visually from the bali- they are fine on SS Bali's where weight reduction is tantamount ala Roton but on a ti I'd find the weight savings elsewhere.

That's a nice looking bali. I really dig the design. I've never had a split handle latch before. I always thought they looked kinda funky.
