    I hear ya!

I actually use a grinding magnet most of the time. When I did this thread, it was the first time I ground heat treated blanks.

    That's the truth.

Martin's epic WIP was a huge influence on my decision to attempt making a knife. As soon as I put a file to steel, I was hooked. I have this entire WIP copy and pasted into Evernote so I can reference it often.

    Thank you, Martin.:flagnsword:

I will definitely keep an eye out. There is nothing like the feel of a

Fistfull of steel. By luck I ended up with one of the Kiridashi's you made

and i love it but the kydex sheath got warped in the sun any advice.

" Next I heat the throat of the sheath and use an piece of plastic (in this case the plastic leather folding tool) to open the mouth up a bit to aid in re-sheathing (gives it a funnel effect)....." MO pg 7 sheaths

Just wanted to say that this also makes it so much eaiser to draw a MOB

slowly by giving a place for your thumb to push. Extremely helpful!

    Thanks fellas!

Yeah that thumb ramp makes it nice when you don't want to have to do the ripcord motion everytime you draw. Really helps when carrying horizontal or SOB where it's hard to do the kydex yank discretely.
