Another new necker! Here's my new Brous Silent Soldier V2 drop point in acid stone wash. I got my name etched below the spine, too! (I was so psyched to see that Brous' site offered that as an included option). It's thick and quite heavy for its size (2.4 ounces). I absolutely love this thing. There are so many different grip options, too!

The one and only thing I am less than thrilled about is that it had two fairly large rust splotches on the blade right out of the box. The knife is made in D2 steel which, upon reading up on it, is apparently the most rust prone of any stainless blade steel. I did see a good deal of conflicting data about the rust resistance of D2 though, so I'm not sure where exactly that stands. I'm not a steel expert by any stretch of the imagination.

It's a terrific carry; I definitely recommend it! The sheath is really nice, too! :spacedevil:

I don't technically have work today, it being Memorial Day, but I'm in the office anyway making up extra work to lighten the load for the rest of the week.
And to play music really loud without anyone around to care.
And to take nicer EDC pictures.

Whenever I get a delivery, I'm always tempted to exclaim, "I've got mail!!" in a Special Ed voice.

The top knife is a Benchmade Mini Rukus, and those are the factory scales.

I loved the look of that knife, and finally bought it. The clip ruins the feel of it in your hand. Most disappointed.
