Yeah, those are nice! As soon as my stimulus hits I'm looking into "upgrading" my bugout scales well. I'm torn between Carbon fiber, or some type of metal scale that patina's nicely, copper, or brass maybe.

its a light weight knife and the natural g10 feels like its more than enough.

all metal scales would def feel great but could over the rest of the knife.

i cant wait to try the kershaw culpepper. at $25 it was worth a try. the clip point shape is so attractive and barlow style is killer. i’ll bet its a winner for dirt $.

I hear ya, the metal scales might very well over power the blade, and it's meant to be an ultralight knife, but the feel of those stock scales make it feel cheap. I'm leaning toward the Carbon fiber variant anyway. I would think that would be the happy middle between the two.

The culpepper is sharp! Especially at that price point. It kinda reminds me of the twosun knives slip joint, except it is exactly $100 more! Lol

I guess the Carbon fiber and s90v blade steel make it worth the extra hundo but I don't know. I've always heard that s90v was damn near impossible to sharpen, so I've always tried to avoid it, but, again, I don't know, it might be worth looking into. I may start a thread and get some opinions of those whose opinions I trust. Also would like to know what everybody's opinion is of m390 as well.

Was really close to getting the Damascus/ti one that’s Japan, but with current situations I’d have to do some selling before I’m buying lol

That's a really nice fade ano dude! I don't usually care much for fade jobs, especially when they have like 123 different colors, they just look tacky to me. But this, this looks awesome! I love the blue to white/silver-ish look! It looks cold. I like cold! You have my approval, and respect sir. Well done!!!

*disclaimer : My approval /respect doesn't mean shit to anybody but me so keep that in mind :D

Thanks!!! Really do appreciate that! It was a fair amount of work and time, took a good few tries to get it where I was happy(enough).
Know exactly what you mean, it’s easy to get carried away with all the colors and it becomes a fine line between good ano and the infamous gas station buy, not to hate on cheap knives, they got their place too, the better the odds I’m gonna lose it the higher the odds (I hope) it’s cheap
