With auto knives set to officially become legal on 8/9 I am looking to add to my current auto collection (Microtech Scarab Executive, Protech TR4.1, and Lone Wolf Diablo). I like the Diablo for EDC because there are times that I need to use a knife that an auto isn't entirely appropriate, like in the office, etc.

I have come across some nice dual action options like:
    • Protech Harkins ATAC
    • Vallotton converted Spyderco
    And custom options like:
    • Diskin Fire (would LOVE to find one of these)
    • Rainy Vallotton
    • Doc Hagan

    Does anyone have other recommendations?

Yeah, I like the Whiskers but it isn't D/A. I saw some of the Chew models online and they looked pretty nice.

The ones mentioned are nice as well as some older Microtech DA's. I've never had a Buck conversion but there is a nice one for sale in Voodoo now.

I know not of "privacy settings"; what with switching from photobucket to the JD, I am lucky I can see it.

I think it has to do with catporn?

On topic, mt also has a few others, but they get spendy or hard to find.

But I'm w/ you op, a good d/a side opener for the office is a beautiful thing.

This is a Vallotton/Diskin D/A scale release. It's a nice little knife and relatively inexpensive if you can find one.

Here's a D/A Buck 110 converted by Wirtz Wire about 10 years ago. They don't do them anymore.

Sure would be, and I like the price! Unfortunately it appears to be auto only, and doesn't even have a nail nick.
