    Thanks Mike!

I need to get in here and post all the pics in one place. I had a lot of fun working out the design with you and really like what we came up with. I think it will do anything a tomahawk will do and more. Specs coming in a bit.

Sheaths are carbon fiber texture Holstex in coyote brown. Great stuff and I will be using it a lot going forward.

    More soon.

What changes did you make besides the scale attachment method?

I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of kirinite, but your knives are so damned sexy that you could use petrified chupacabra shit for scales and it would still look great.

The transition between the two edges are now all convex.
This was done to test a theory Martin and I have.
It also allows that "step" to be used as a belly when dealing with certain materials.

The handle has been polished smooth / solid corby's to allow the "snap cut" to move more freely between the fingers without the rougher texture and counter drilled screws causing irritation.

The Kironite, like the sheath material, is a test.

    What Mike said!

The continuous slightly convexed grind eliminates a potential weak spot the first one had and the corby's eliminate the meat grinder holes the screw on's had. These thicker scales left a deep counterbored hole that the meat of your hand sunk down into giving a purple nurple effect.

This particular color of Kirinite looks fantastic. Like Mike posted, it and the Holstex are a test. If they can survive the punishment this blade is capable of dealing out they can survive anything a knife should ever be subjected to.

We'll post more as it gets put through it paces.

    Thanks for the comments guys!
