Looking to finally jump in and get my first bali
Found a brass handled BM51 at an amazing price but I’m hesitant due to the extra weight.
Never handled something like that before.
How big of a deal will that be d’you a think?

Heavy handle bias has a huge effect on how a Bali handles, how much does this thing weigh? You can always change the scales as well, just keep in mind that 51s are a PITA to take apart and reassemble.

I'm currently in a conversation with several moderators to appraise my Bronze Alpha Beast 3.0 Premium.

It is a flipper not a collector, with normal wear to show it.

I should have it up for sale in the next day. It could be an ideal place to start. It won't be terribly expensive due to the condition. It was also my first full size balisong.

That is about the same size and weight of a 62. Not a recommended flipper by most.

Just to clarify for OP - this is a bronze *colored* titanium-handled balisong, not actual bronze - unlike the heavy brass 51 you're looking at. I would go with the bronze alpha beast, if you're okay with the condition it is in.

I did not mean to mislead. Bronze anodization over Ti is correct.

    Get whatevers cheapest.

    Learn some basic stuff.

If you decide it's your thing, do some research and buy something decent.

    OK.

Brass handled 51 will flip like ballz (heavy brass ballz).

    Do you like brass ballz?

Keep the alpha beast and learn on that, no question. Remove the clip if you don't need it.
