    Correct, but not 100%

If You use Conditional 2, the first sentence must be in present perfect tense or past perfect tense.
(If You use Conditional 1 it is past tense)

    so:

    must be:

"if the issue has been (or had been) posting ..., ... would have been ..."

    Sorry for the lesson.

At least this is what I learned at school ~33 years ago.

    International Space

    International Waters

A place to discuss and show off your knives from ALL over the world.

Are You sure that You want to segregate a part of the forum to "international"?

Who shall post there? Segregated people?

    ??

Going international is not a question of an own forum section - it is a question of the hearts of the members that are here.

Albeit I feel the forum already is international. I feel it in the way I was welcome here. That was great, indeed.

It seems to me, as I've reread the thread, is that it's a somewhat Noble idea...

But the implementation of it, in it's own subforum, may in fact turn out to be counter productive..

I voted yes originally, but now see that the members you would be looking to have join and post on the forum, would then never venture out into the rest of the forum...

So what's the point of that?

The JD has always had a different type of member, perhaps a little more aggressive than other forums, but not for nothing, that's what also makes this place great.....

Let them lurk like everyone does before they join the forum...let them figure it out..Plenty of others have and seem to have made it work- for them and for us...

To soften the entry will not provide any long term benefits - to those not equipped for the long haul anyway...

I think somehow someone mentioned "segregation" and others ran away with it. :ropeman:

No one mentioned ANY segregation, this is not the intention AT ALL, and it confuses me how a select few keep mentioning it.

The area would not be for Germans to talk about the hosiery, the Dutch to talk about their wooden shoes, or the Austrians to talk about their kangaroos!

JUST knives and such from their local marketplaces. I understand that JD is already universal, I get that. This would just be a place to group this stuff, and maybe show off some other stuff we do not already discuss. Their is not any intention of separating all of the other wonderful areas jD already has or to take ANYTHING away from them. In fact I was thinking of moving the thread/posts to the "correct" areas when and if people misposted as I have posted several times.

Hopefully everyone reads, and understands the gist of my vision for this section here.

I think its a good idea. We have a pretty good handle on who the more successful International Makers are in terms of North American sales.

I enjoy reading threads from other parts of the EU or South America.

Are you gonna call the Canadian Makers "International"? :bwah:
