A new wheel gun and a few favorites....

Picked up a new to me Model 14-3; SN: K8253XX. Stocks matched to gun; I'm a bit conservative on condition - a little rub marks on the muzzle, slight turn ring, a small spot of missing varnish on the base of the stocks - 90-95% in my opinion. Very beautiful bluing. If my guessing is right - SN is sometime around 1968.

papercut, no knock on your new Legion, but for those about to buy - we took my friend Lee S's new Legion P229 9mm to the local indoor range last month; I took a WG P226 and P228, Mike N. took a WG P225. All of ours outshot Lee's new gun.

We switched shooters and ammo and the result was the same. Lee works the counter at one of larger local gun stores; he traded it back in for store credit. It coulda just been that one gun. Again, no knock, but for those on the fence...

Word around the campfire is that Sig's quality took a nosedive when Ron Cohen took the helm. I only have two - a WG P220 and a WG P228, and both are amazing.

That's odd, I find mine to be very accurate. I was contemplating picking up a SAO Legion 229 but I guess I'll have to look into that further.

    Just picked up this weekend.

Was perusing through my LGS and came across the CZ cabinet.
I am in the market for a nicely sized 9mm pistol (to go with my new 9mm SBR).

Inside the cabinet were all manner of CZ-75s, CZ P-09s, and CZ P-07s.
At the end of the CZ P-07 row was a gem. Exactly what I had been looking for:

    9mm: check
    Factory Threaded 1/2x28: check
    Factory suppressor height sights: check
    Factory night sights: check
CZ: bonus to match my CZ Scorpion
2 Factory 17 rd magazines: bonus
    Priced wrong: score!
This pistol was priced the same as the regular bone stock P-07s, so i couldn't resist buying.

    Old School CZ Goodness

Aim Surplus reported having a supply of Israeli Police Trade-in CZ-75s. This is the one I got (lousy cellphone pictures don't do it any justice; it cleaned up pretty good). Made in 1989; slide is marked:

    MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA

    Not bad for $349...
