Due to circumstances WAY beyond my control, it looks like I won't be able to make it this year. :ssad:

I'll be trying madly to make it work all the way up to September, but it ain't looking good.

I will certainly be there next year (and thereafter), so try not to burn the place down.

(And if Fenlore falls asleep this year, somebody take the picture of him getting fenlored this time.) :devilzeek

Ben you have like 19 siblings. Stop. Just stop it, already.

Jackie, we will miss you. I think Fen is blowing us off too! :moping:

So it's out there, I know I'll want to make a 4 to 4.5 inch bladed carry suitable for running (good-sized sticky handle, slight guard, kydex IWB sheath, spear-point blade, but a lot better than my last attempt at butchery, er, knifemaking) and Heather (my other better and far smarter half) wants a necker with a slight guard and a sticky handle. She did her first run on the trail thru the woods with me today and she determined she wants a fixed blade for carrying while doing this and she figures a neck-capable blade since girl-clothes for athletic behaviors tend not to work with belt-carried knives.

I've got a couple for her to play with, but she seems to want her own and I told her we'd likely be able to work this out at the grind-up. It's hard to convey the big smile I have for this.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'll make sure we have suitable blanks for both of you.

The Kydex Station will be open so you will have a pretty free hand in design there too.

    Flight booked.

    Room booked.

Now we play the waiting game...

Hey Mike, when I called the Terrace Bay Inn they said they didn't have a block of rooms set aside for the Grind In.
