It's a Matt Cook reblade. I still have the original blade. Matt was kind enough to include some better fitting washers for the original as well

It's a bit stiff at the moment. But once it breaks in I think it will be great. Seems pretty neutral now to me. Most everything I have is handle bias. Variety is the spice of life.

Something new from Mr. Eldon Talley...
Just have a question about this Talisong:
What's the difference among balis marked Talisong and Talisong FL?
Maybe someone knows the blade steel used in this knife? Thanks

The FL are the flipper models.

The Talisong without the FL generally have a hole pattern along the handles.

Blade steel varies, depending on what you ask for.

    Eh what!?

    There's a huge difference.

Eldons original Talisong with the hole pattern weren't decent flippers. Eldon took feedback from a small pass around he did and came back with the non skeletonised handles which were much better. He called the non skeletonised version the "FL" or flipper model.

There are reviews on both if you search JDBA for them.

I’m aware of the OG Talisong and the FL. The FL had “Talisong FL” on it for a while, then he dropped the FL at some point. Now the FL models simply say ”Talisong”. Like the one pictured.
