Saliant Arms is a new manufacturer I found recently that has some really good looking firearms. I don't know how well a Glock will sell with a price tag ranging from $1100 (Tier 1 and you provide the Glock) to $2600 (Tier 3) but who knows. I wouldn't spend it, but I would like to buy one of there slides for my 29 and 30. They also do Smith & Wesson's M&P line of pistols, and I saw a couple HK's. They manufacture there 1911's from the ground up, but if a Glock is $2600 they are probably the price of a nice used car. Looks like they do shotguns too, as I saw some Benelli M2's & M4's, 870's, and couple others. The AR15's are nice, and they have some high quality parts (just going by pics) like there Titanium Nitride BCG https://www.facebook.com/SalientArm...0.1395690313./727344173976959/?type=3&theater but it's $300. Suppose to have an AR10 too, but I haven't seen it. Again, the AR is pretty damn high at $3900. They remind me of Christensen Arms...catering more to the people that want there AR to look good over performance, but who knows...here are some pics:

Yes, eye candy for sure. And I'm not taking away from any
potential performance enhancements. To me though they
seem primarily cosmetic. I don't see how they would benefit
    function of the gun.

Making the slight lighter can help a competitive shooter who
uses lighter loads and can help the slide cycle faster I suppose.
The front serrations are nice if you want some more grip for
press checking the gun from the front.

But honestly a glock, m&p, ar15, they are pretty reliable as
is and doing anything to the outside is not really going to make
it shoot better overall. They work fine as is. If I put that kind
of money into a gun it'd probably be more gun smithing/tuning
    work.

Seen their stuff, they are local to me.
    Shoots nice.
The price is pretty much akin to putting lipstick on a pig...

I'd rather spend the money on ammo and/or instruction...

Has anyone bothered to mention that if the sun or a streetlight is behind you those silly red dot things don't work on a handgun??

Ammo and training to be sure...particularly with what they're pimping.
