So, if anybody was interested in what these looked like in pieces...
IMG_20170616_191829390-960x540.jpg IMG_20170616_191815972-960x540.jpg It's a damned nice knife, but I hate how the handles feel.

I'll get one...or wait and see how they sell and see if there are other blade profiles to come.

How hard was it for you to break the red loctite?

I did not heat up or use any sort of assist on the pivots.

I used just the hands tools you see on the picture.

I stuck the closed Bali between my knees and with a driver on each side slowly and firmly twisted.

There was some muscle needed, but not an obscene amount.

I must say, the finish on the entire knife is very decent. I just hate the handle shape completely.

I didn't even try to mess with those.

I would expect them to be torqued on fairly tight and gummed on with loctite to be sure.

I don't think overall that it's worth what the sell it for at all.

Trick I use is to heat the screw with a soldering gun the heat will break down the loctite .

...you don`t like the price because you don`t like the knife as much, or you just don't like the price for a production balisong?
If you think about it ,it`s a milled Ti $140 over what production sandwich balis go for ...( if BM was not enforcing the MAP pricing, these could have been in the $430 to $470 range)

Milling Ti is expensive and slow. Ask any custom folder maker.

It's all relative. I think it is absolutely worth the price.

Holy fuck, you turned into such a Bali-Bra :bobert:

Now why take apart a perfectly good knife, unless it's broke. :tard:

    That bad huh!?

The latch must suck too. I've seen them latchless and they look rediculous with that whopping great hole in the handle end.

Was there anything specific that you didn't like or was it just an overall feel? Look... way it flipped...etc.

Saw a review that showed you can remove the latch to improve the balance, but also put the screws back in to cover the hole.

I do the same thing with my ass.

These are selling pretty quickly given the fact that people on THIS forum tend to not like the 87 :bali:
