    I have this handmade balisong has brass handles wooden scales blade and latch are made from the same steel. Blade is stamped victory. I have seen a picture of it on pinoysteel but no description. balis.jpeg

    Definitely a FHM. After WW2 a lot of scrap metal was reused for cutlery, tools, etc. Vehicle springs were an excellent source of blade steel.
