What is the best way to remove enamel spray paint from G10 scales? I've got a BM51 that someone painted a glow in the dark orange. I've got the knife apart & have managed to get everything clean by soaking in water overnight & simply scratching the paint off everything that is metal. I'm left with only the G10 scales. I've read of various remedies from oven cleaner to carburetor cleaner but am hesitant to try any of them. Would an overnight soak in some paint thinner work? ANY help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

I might think about picking up a cheap knife(maybe EBay)to experiment on.
