If there ever was a, "Who's That?" of movie collections...
Man, you have a lot of unknown movies in there. Were most straight to VHS?

    I'm kidding.

But seriously, you are missing some major must-haves.
    Boondock Saints
    Memento

and check out Guy Pearce in "The Proposition."

    Nice collection.

HA ! Not that I can remember, I remember very distinctly as a child, most if not all the movies I own were regularly aired on either late night HBO, late night Cinemax, or Encore during it's beginning years long before they went by Starz (they often had a timer and the name of the movie they were about to show which to me was cool and innovative for it's day). Not to mention cable TV or they were movies I would always see on the shelves at video rentals as a kid, well back when rentals consisted of actual buildings where you could actually hold a movie and look at the back of the box which was a big help in deciding whether or not to rent it, hehe.

LOL I always get asked that since I like Pacino and Deniro but in all honesty it just never appealed to me. I remember it vaguely as a child and to be honest all I remember are that it's very long and it's not kid friendly as my mom and dad would often argue when he let me watch it with him and I'll be honest, memories associated with a movie basically make up for most of the criteria I go by in terms of deciding which movies I feel are worth owning on DVD and bluray. You'd be surprised how many great movies I refuse to own not because of the films themselves, but because of some fucked up memory that comes with it. I know, I'm weird, hehe. I may change my mind someday as I once had similar feelings about some of the movies I now own though so you never know.....

That's a fair point and it goes both ways. We'll love a lousy movie for some reason like you and all your friends watched it one time in high school and had a lot of fun.

Oh, come on man, it was an awesome movie ! I'd go as far as to say it was the best kung fu movie of the 80's ! A very hip and well done homage to the kung fu styled movies of the 70's ! Bruce Leroy was the man ! HA !

I was put off by the lousy sequels that followed Jaws and as a completist I know if I bought it I'd end up buying the lousy sequels which I don't really care for. The Deer Hunter out right freaked me out as a kid, like here I am all grown up and I still can't see Christopher Walken the same, I mean I know he's not the creepy movie bad guy he plays so well on film but I don't know, something about his on screen presence just gives me the creeps and I'm pretty sure it was because of the Deer Hunter. I never saw Once Upon A Time In America.

Once I filled up a Sony 777ES changer I knew I had to do something different...

So I bought a Xtreamer Pro (2x2tb) and filled that up...

Then finally put together a Cineraid 4 bay raid 5 enclosure loaded up 4x3tb. Currently at 654 disks, full .iso images
