I was just watching this flick again and was just wondering what knife is Denzel using in this scene. I try to pick knife and guns in movies but I cannot tell what kind brand this is. Thanks for any help.

That was such a great movie!

I've always wondered the same thing about the knife used in that scene.

My guess would be that it was just a cheapo knife they picked up in a flea market out there in Mexico or something.

Is it one of those Camillis knives with the little lever on the side that openes it up?

I don't know sick boy. I thought the same when I first saw it but there is no lever and it has a thumb lug.

Sickboy nailed it I do believe. Those side locks were termed "Lev R Locks" IIRC.

    Hmmm...

The Lev-R-Lok doesn't have a thumbstud... and old Denzels looks like it does.

    Yeap.

It's the back side of the thumbstud. In another part of the scene you see him flick open the blade with the thumbstud. I do agree it looks like the Camillus Lever Lock but this one has no lever???

I don't know about the knife, but man that movie is great. Way better than than the original with Scott Glenn. One of my favorites.
