    Ahh I see what you mean by more curve. Looks good mate, a lot less raw/industrial and more flowing if you know what I mean?

    The sub-hilt is a cracker to. It's almost long enough to be a falcata but with a little less weight at the tip end. Have you a thickness of blade in mind?

    (Also good to see someone who uses real drawing before using the hated cad)

    Looking good,

    What about a choil for choking up on? Don't know if they are needed for fighters though. In that case what about making the crossguard into an S shape like the old SF Commando Daggers.

    What about a 'ring' at the front of the gaurd?

    Looked at the hog hunting thread on here and a few of the knives they used had 'ring' guards. Seemed like a solid way to stop any chance of your hand slipping up the blade when stabbing. Also thought it looked pretty good.
