If you're into leverlocks, they have a forged model that is also a killer.

Leverlettos are very cool and a good EDC for cutting stuff open. What do you think about this swinguard?

    Get the Walts.

JMHO but the Walt's is very nice. The blade is a full 5mm thick. They are rather beafy for a classic Italian stiletto and they are a little pricey. I thought I saw some on switchblade.com.

Walt's knives are very nice. One of the finest production Italian stilettos made. Unfortunately, if you want to cut things, Walt's knives are not what you need. The blade steel is excellent, but the bayonet grind is simply too obtuse to sharpen well.

"THE" Bill DeShivs in our very own JD forum?

I am honored. Welcome aboard!

    Greens sent.

YES, one of his AKC made "Leverlettos" would be an excellent purchase.
Classic Italian looks, with the better German leverlock.

Many currently made traditional style stilettos can still have blade play, even higher end Beltrames.
But the Leverlettos are some of the tightest I've ever handled.

I have a traditional AKC swing guard with a nice Kris blade, it came from a kit and was put together unevenly (it could use a rebuild).
I also have a beat up smaller AKC "tactical" Leverletto that still locks up perfectly.
I'd love to put the two ideas together and get my hands on a higher end polished Leverletto with some fancy scales and a Kris blade some day.

    Myswitchblade

hello again. In my previous post I told you to go to switchblade.com. Sorry that information was incorrect. The site is myswitchblade.com. There you can view all of the good Italian makers as well as the German blades and of course the Walt's Favorites. Sorry for the confusion I may have caused. Best regards, JT.

    Katana.com

The other site for Walts is latana.com. This is the direct site for Walks Favorite. Most are high end blades for this type of a traditional Italian stiletto. They have the best blades and some really wicked scales. I think you will enjoy this site. The site is not Katana.com. Once again, best regards.
