I am sure we have all seen forum posts on how guns fair with high round counts, well here is a good video where Mrgunsngear interviews an armorer at Battlefield Las Vegas. These guns are seeing thousands of rounds a month and it is pretty interesting to hear about how they run.

I am just posting this here in case some of you don't subscribe to this guy on youtube or full30.

I subscribe to Mr. Guns and Gear. He lives not too far from me here in NC. This video was really good. To hear about places like this that really put these firearms through their paces means a lot to me. I already own a SCAR 17 and wanted a 16 at one time. It's back on the list after hearing a first hand account how it has held up to such a high round count.

There is no reason not too have a rock island tac 2 in 9mm. Chews through ammo that's way cheaper than 45. All the bells and whistles, commander hammer, fiber optic sights, vz grips, etc - all under $500.

just watched the video and the out take about the 240 gets me in the heart
i have always thought of th M240 as a better firearm then the M249 saw tho both are hands down better then the M60
it is nice to see the high use guns and what parts give when over used that way you can keep on hand a parts bin. im about 7K round on my glock so i shodl look at a recoil spring almost all my other stuff is bolt pump or lever action so low round count lifetime users

Next time I find myself out is Las Vegas, I am definitely stopping by there. I'd probably spend more money there than at the casinos.

Most of what they said didn't really surprise me too much. Though I have to say that the video has got me wanting a SCAR 16. I don't think I have even seen one in the wild up where I live. Guess I'll save my pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters too.
