Hey guys! I have a Spyderco Dragonfly2. Im gonna dye the handle. While the knife is in pieces, I was gonna acid etch the blade w/ Ferric.

Does anyone know if H1 is even possible to acid etch?? Im curious cause H1’s high corrosion resistance. I dont wanna ruin this lil baby.

I’d greatly appreciate any comments or thoughts you guys have. Thanks!

I doubt that you'll get very effective results with ferric. Maybe some electrical current and some salt water, though.
    Best of luck!
