For sale is a hard-to-find Aegir CD-2. The Aegir CD-2 ( Concept Diver 2 ) was designed by a commercial diver, with the applique dial for a more classy watch outside of the water and the added unidirectional 60 click diving bezel for scuba use as well. The bezel has engraved markers with a black finish, and an engraved 12 o’clock lumed triangle. The watch itself was designed inside a dive bell during long hours sitting in decompression.
    :PAYMENT:
It features a German made 316L Stainless Steel case by Fricker, with brushed finish and a Helium relief valve. It has a 7mm screw down, signed crown. The automatic movement is the Soprod A10, Swiss made automatic, with 25 Jewels. The matte black dial has applique hour makers, filled with nuclear grade Superluminova BGW-9C1. It is 42mm diameter (not including the crown), 50.5mm lug to lug length, 24mm between the lugs (24mm strap width), and 14mm in height. Its about the same size as a Seiko 300MM or Kobold Seal. The crystal is domed Sapphire, anti scratch with anti reflective coating inside. The bezel is Stainless Steel, with engraved minute markings with black finish, and 60 click unidirectional. The Water Resistance is rated for 701 meters, or just over 2,300 ft! The 24mm lug bars are screwed in for positive safety, and comes with a black 24mm Isofrane strap.

The CD-2 in production is limited to a total of 50 pieces, plus 25 LE versions, for a total of only 75 ever to be made. The list price is ~$2,000. These watches are German and Swiss made. Every component has been sourced from these two countries. The first series of limited edition watches will be assembled, regulated and all quality control done in Switzerland. The standard watches will have this done in Germany.

This particular watch is in TZ Excellent (90%) condition. It has several light hairlines on the case, and a few little scratches from strap changes. The crystal is perfect, as is the handset and dial, screw down crown, and bezel. The Soprad auto movement is keeping excellent time. The caseback has an engraving of a diving bell, and its two-digit serial number. This is a beefy watch that is very well and thoughtfully designed by a professional North Sea diver, and you won't likely ever see one on another wrist!
