    Wonderful blades, Sir.
The one in post #1 is beautiful and it seems to be looking for a wild boar to molest.
The Sugar Hill looks good enough to carry around all the time.
The sub hilt looks really nice.

oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! She looks great Stephan:thumbsup:. That bowie is something else and was really well received on BF. The new light box is fantastic, no more sending them out for glamor shots.

Just in front of the ricasso is where the balance point is. Because of the tapered spine it has, it feels light. When I first took it out I thought it was much heavier. Still it's heavy enough to chop alot.

Tomorrow I will do some shelter building with it.

Just adding some glamor shots to the gallery. I got 2 fowler blades in this week and had to do some testing. I will grab some pics of the JD benefit blade at a later time, but I had to get out there and put my camp knife to use. Most of these are staged scenery shots, but there is one in there of me limbing a chunk of ironwood. I beat thru a few sections of the ironwood and that shit is tough stuff. I wanted to grab some for some handle material down the road. I do have to admit that the blade destroyed the wood with absolutely no loss in cutting edge. I will still able to shave and push cut through paper after the chopping test.

EDIT: as you can see in the pics I had Stephan leave some protruding steel at the butt end for flint sparking and I did test that function as well. Granted its a last resort, but I was able to toss sparks with some jasper that I found and I think it's a great little feature to have.
