Guy's, these are proto's i've been working on.

i've wanted to make some real dedicated flippers for a while now and am just getting around to it. i'm going to ask the owners for feedback on them as well.

    Blade: CPM-154, 5/32" thick. 4.3" long
    Handles: 6al4v titanium, 5.2" long
    spacers: 6al4v TI
    Latch: 6al4v TI.

Thay're about 9.5" OAL. and weigh in at 4.5oz. i simply made them how i would like a flipper.the thinner bladestock reduces bulk and weight but still feel's like your flipping a KNIFE i took advice from knifezoids review and thinned out latches a few thou more and rounded handles over alot more., he was right it is much nicer.., thanks buddy. i also put a direct belt edge on them so they shave hair easily but wont lop off a digit if you mess up. i went with a high hollow utility blade as it's utilitarian, thicker spine is comfy on the hands doing trick's, lack of swedge leaves a stronger tip and grinding it right to the spine greatly reduces weight.i'll probably make ten or so....

guy's, i plan to make maybe 10 of these in between LST orders and other stuff. i dont want to make to many as it can become very monotonous. please dont pm me. shoot me an e-mail to balibalistic@gmail.com titled "flipper" if you want to get in on one. it's easier to sift through then pm's are.

    thanks guy's.

As always they look superb.... and I am picking that they would be flipping perfection.

I can see the pb washers but do they have bushings as well?

And second question.. if they are dedicated flippers for flippers, are they priced in the same bracket as the rest of the Bali's that you make?

This is gonna be wicked! Can't wait to get it in hand!

The only thing I'm not too big a fan of is the blade profile.

But hey, maybe this will make me into a fan of utility blades :ross:

Beautiful work again, Shawn as always!

Hey is it just my eyes or did you make one tang pin bigger for the open
    position?

Glad you experimented off some of the things I had mentioned. I think
it's great to see makers cater to the flipping community. It renders
great knives that perform better, but still have great design and style.
