That is a fine looking knife, and very nice workmanship. Hang onto it; you need one to show.

Until about 5 years ago I marked my knives on the off side. The only reason I changed was that people would photograph from the left, and my name was never visible. I finally decided that wasn't too good for business.

I've made my wife about 5 knives, all with Oosic handles. :jdwink2:

    Thanks very much everyone.

It took me about two months to make this, kept adding it in to whatever I was doing to push it along whenever I could.

Ya I know I am so friggin busy I don't know if I'll get a chance to get out and use this one!!! If I don't go hunting this year it'll be the third year in a row I haven't hunted. I haven't even had time to go fishing for the past two summers. Didn't even buy a licence this year. I suck! Everyone I know has already gotten their moose &/or caribou. Even if I could get out an shoot some grouse (and we have tonnes) that'd make me happy at this point!!!

As for why I put my name on the other side, I'm the only one who has it right! Kidding. I just figure since most cutting happens away from you if you are right handed putting it on the side I am putting it on means the name is always displayed. I don't know it's just what I do. So far people have been good about photographing my knives with my name showing, so we'll see how it goes.

    Ha ha ha!

Actually if I'm not mistaken big J. Neilsen puts his name on the same side as mine. He's from PA, don't know if that bolsters my point or damages it!!!

Mike at WSSI thinks this wood is Afzelia Burl, whatever it is it's a nice piece of wood.
