Have any of you tried Dot Torture?

It's a good way to work on skills when indoor or outdoor.

It requires 50 rounds of ammunition and at lease an extra magazine.

It is normally done at 3 yards, then as you improve 4 and 5.

See if you can shoot it clean.

You can download the PDF here and print it on a plain sheet of letter sized paper.

DT is a great drill. I like it and use it a lot. Once it is shot clean, work on speed, but not at the cost of accuracy.

If it gets too easy, switch primary hands and do it again.

I'd like to give it a shot but the range closest to me that I frequent the most only allows 28ft and out. Too many folks hitting the ceiling and rails I guess. I need to print them out for when I hit ranges with more loose rules for sure.

It’s fun, and it works on many different skills.

    Have 20 sheets of them.

I have been finding myself having more fun with dynamic steel targets, recently.

Anything aside from shooting a fixed target endlessly is better.

Printing some up for next range trip now! I need to work on my skills. I am in habit of shooting not training and need to reverse the tide and gain some skills!
