Are the pins kinda bouncy ? Does it return faster or slower.

It is different for sure, the shot in the handles acts to dampen the bounce, like a deadblow hammer and that sharp point of contact is gone at the pins so it’s smoother. I’ll try it without the shot soon and make bigger pins just to see what that’s like.

On some bolt stops for guns they sometimes use a pin coverd in rubber or sometimes just plastic or nylon .
Can Really make a gun more pleasant to shoot, Without the clacking and whatnot noises.

Back when in my 10/22 mod days I tried a couple of diffrent bolt stop materials nylon bolts that lasted a minute
Then tried a roll pin with nylon tubing for air line that lasted another minute.
Pretty much every part kidd makes is spot on

    Awesome, thank you!
I was imagining something like that for Reps, using a threaded tube.

The pins are holding up just fine. Starting to see a little polishing. This knife is so easy to work with.

I’ve never seen the guts of one. I had an ultra tech for a while and loved.it.
It was noisy. Delrin is good stuff.
