Just finished up this hand forged chef's knife for my dad. I think he's gonna be quite happy with it.

5160, Hand forged. Full flat grind. Handle scales are Osage Orange burl, finished with Linseed oil.
Blade: 7.5" cutting edge, 1.5" tall, 0.075" thick.
    Handle: 4.5" long

This was a really fun build. And boy is this baby sharp. It'll shave, it'll slice, it'll dice... It will cut. All in all I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Not too shabby for my third blade. [IMG] DSCN4541lq.jpg DSCN4540lq.jpg DSCN4537lq.jpg DSCN4524lq.jpg
