Thanks Jason. I'll look into that. I've been looking at dewars for liquid nitrogen. Any benefits or drawbacks to either method?

Wish i had a dewar container im sure thats the better choice much colder. Cryo vs sub zero not sure how long the liq nitro lasts and how much and some steels might like the colder better. Im loving your shop it is awesome i would sweep that :eric:

I should also add, that all the cool tools in the world dont mean jack unless you know how to use them. I have LOTS to learn. Thanks for all your help.

Few scores for the shop lately. Desperately need some shop organizing and cleaning. Here are the new goodies:

Man, this thing is pretty cool. Buddy found it in a local antique store and said I had to have it. Needs a bit of cleanup, but seems to function well. It is crazy heavy.

Knife vise from the wife for my birthday. Not sure how she even figured that one out. Planned on building one, but she saved me some time for sure. Shes awfully good to me.

One man's trash is another mans,....trash can. Yes, I did get excited about a trash can haha. But this was in a dumpster. There isn't a hole or dent in it!

Shop is a disaster. Bought a car. Turns out it has a lot wrong with it. Looks good, but not much was done correctly on it. So that has been taking a lot of my time. I'd like to enjoy it before winter hits.

Not super excited about having it in the shop taking up room. Anyone have car lift experience?

Tomorrow will be cleaning up the shop day for sure.

You guys think this will be enough for my grinder?

For 50 bucks im willing to give it a try. I can use it for other things if it doesn't work out.

With a 2hp motor it should handle your grinder fine. Don't know about everything else in your shop.

Thanks. Its come a long way. I have a lot of learning I have to do in order to use some of the stuff.

I think the lift will come next summer. Seems to handy. I'll ask santa for it.. im just scared it will be in my way.

My wife threatened me once jokingly about a bed or couch down there. Not much of a punishment really haha. I am however missing a mini-fridge I think.

Got on the roof yesterday and fixed an area that just keeps getting blown off. Needs a new roof. Maybe it can go one more year. We had 6-8 inches of snow while I was gone. Luckily yesterday was pretty damn nice. Winter is HERE.

High lift setup installed on the shop door today. I considered doing it myself, glad I didn't after watching 3 guys here doing it. I'll need to clean up their wiring and run a stub of conduit up for another outlet. Came out well.

Now to do some rearranging and install a lift.

Starting to move a few things around in the shop. The lift on the ground is taking up to much room. Moved this bench. It suffered some minor damage...but its moved.

It is a heavy mofo when its empty. It was a score out of a wood recycling pile. I couldn't believe it. Its been serving me well.

Sometimes its just the little things. I planned on this when I built the loft and finally did it.

    20201125_142552_copy_1024x768.jpg

Still need to put a little tag rope on it. Can't have enough extension cords it seems.

Lift progress. Lots of trips to town for BS. I hate rental places. They try to screw you every which way they can. Anyway...

    20201128_162421_copy_768x1024.jpg

Think ill have to build a small bench for my drill presses. I'd rather they were on the other side of the lift. I don't know. Im sure everything will find a home.
