Finished a big S7 Bowie and took a decent pic....

Finished a few regular sized knives....

Got my buildoff piece on steel finally!

And! Grasso sent me a box for the next project we are working on together....this and the fact that I have been watching the newest season of Spartacus all week are guaranteed to result in someone getting cut.....smart money is on me. Still a ways out but these are gonna be the coolest iteration of a bomb proof Gladius that also still looks and feels like a real Gladius that anyone has ever done.

AND....the coolest thing about it all is that it's not 115 degrees in the shop this weekend....we finally got what passes for a cool front here. Highs in the mid 80's....lows around 65.....brrrr..where's my parkha?

Thanks for looking! All comments welcome!

Wow that build off piece is a hoss!! Makes me want to hit stuff with sharp shit! Really dig the way you have been shaping finger grooves in the g10 on the smaller stuff. Whats is the length on those gladius'? Wish i wouldnt have been sleeping off a long night at the titty bar when your email went out today. Ill take anything anytime!! Keep up the outstanding work!!!

I'd say more Grasso's ancestry inspired combined with his fascination for large edged weapons.

Spartacus will be the reason I hurt myself with one :knifey:

I'm wanting to know what's under that blade. Looks like some kind of chopper with teeth on the spine.....:devilzeek

I also dig the Pepsi glass. I actually have one if those. :)

Ha! Didn't realize the Pepsi glass made it in the pic.

The saw teeth are on an eventual hollow handle piece. It's been hanging up there for a couple of years!

You need to have T-shirts with this image on the back. Just saying, it looks tough.

I could definitely see this knife on a T-shirt. Working on a concept now. This or th AET or even both. Possibly a tattered Texas flag in the mix. More soon!

Lol, I mean you holding the knife with the goggles and breather filters on. Maybe in like a negative relief sort of image- with the Texas flag behind you. You know.... the maker and his creation.
