I will take 357 over 9 any day of the week. I am just an old school revolver guy.

The real question is how did he get that ammo. It is completely dry out here in California unless you want to pay hundreds for 250 rounds of steel case 5.56...

Most people can buy it off the Internet(if they can find it). Oh and not go through an FFL and maybe a background check.

Different things can be done with both cals. Have both. Be one in harmony.

True, 9mm is cheaper than .357 and for those that can't handle the recoil of the larger/more powerful cartridges it is a good choice.Max loads in 357 with heavy bullets is much more than the 9mm recoil. Accuracy comes first. I shoot 45 ACP as well as I shoot 9mm, so a 1911 it is for an autoloader for me. Just got some Wolff Srings for the SP 101. Off to the range next week.

I like shooting.357 because you can shoot .38’s and save on ammo , yes .357 is better as well, 9mm is better for edc but of course is for what and where etc…millions of scenarios, just get both lol.

Could you please post your experience with the new springs? I have an SP101 and I am thinking about replacing the springs, but I am uncertain about the results. Thanks, in advance.

Sure, just trying the mainspring first. I will let you know how it feels after install and again after a range trip. I will check out the feasibility of stoning the engagement surfaces too.

I have never heard anyone say 9mm equals .357 magnum ballistics.

Its the same people that think the 10mm is as powerful as the 41 Mag.

I put in the 10# Mainspring today, pretty easy. Much better, a range trip soon to test, still plan on doing the stoning. Leaving the trigger spring alone for now, want to test fire after each change. The double action is much lighter and cocking that small hammer spur is improved. I will not tolerate any misfires due to my changes though. I will keep you posted, might be a couple of weeks until I can get to the range.
