Said it before... if I was going to get things mailed to your house it wouldn't be computer related (and you'd want to be sure YOU got the mail).

If you've got the money then get a 1440p ultra wide, but for about $200 you can get a 23 inch 1080p (that's what I've got and I love it)

I rocked a 26" for the past 10 years or so. My old roommate tried to out do me with a 32". We both played FPS video games, but the 32" was way too big and he returned it for a 26" after a few days.

I got a pair of 32" 1- Sony and a NEC. Auto cad requires a lot of view space. Porn is life sized. I'm not a gamer so I cant speak to that. But I could see it being overwhelming.

Like many have said depends on what your going todo with it. Me I have 27" 4k for pc gaming with a 36" 1080p for movies and xbox then a lil 15" set off to the side that is for hardware monitoring programs.

I'm using a 15" Retina MacBook Pro which is almost adequate for desktop use.

When I have a big spreadsheet open I'll use AirPlay to project it onto a 46" Panasonic TV. Works well enough for spreadsheets and porn :bwah:

I have looked at those Thunderbolt Mac and Samsung Displays and they are amazing. Way too spendy for the number of times I would actually use it for work. The 4K Samsung curved screen is the best buy IMHO.

For a laptop 15 inches is the largest screen size I can deal with. As for a desktop monitor I'm content with my Asus 23 inch 1920 x 1080 monitor with a 60 hz refresh rate. Might upgrade to a 27 inch 2560 x 1440 monitor with a refresh rate above 60 Hz.

I just bought a 27 " monitor E 275525he Ultra slim (AOC ) .The resolution is tremendous although the pores in some peoples face is weird , so I turned the aspect ratio and resolution settings back a little . works beautiful , I can watch streaming TV from across the room..... The resolution on a good monitor is way better than any of the new TV's.

These things are 2560x1440 and can be overclocked to 96~hz. These use the same panel from the apple thunderbolt displays so you knoew they are good, other than being an off brand.

    Monitor for destop

I'll throw my two cents in: I use a 28" 780p Vizio Smart TV for a monitor in conjunction with an apple 13 " mac book pro; I do a lot of music related stuff, but as many have said, it depends on what you are using it for. I'm getting old so the bigger the better ( I heard that before), when I'm done with the computer stuff, I can still watch tv or netflix on it. Best buy has those vizio smart tvs for cheap, I think about 150 or so.:devilzeek

For me a 22" is the best size, HD of course.

I use 3 27" displays at 1920x1080, each, at my office. I also use 3 monitors at my house, too, but they are a little smaller. I actually despise working on a machine that has less than 3 displays.
