It's my custom order. I don't like DE for flipping so I figured this would be better.

He knocked it out of the park though. I can see a lot of influence from traditional fixed blade Kriss.

I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen a single edge kris.
Is that how traditional fixed bladed krises are?
I always just thought of them as wavy daggers.

From what I’ve seen on Bali’s, at the very least there’s usually a spine in the middle and still two primary grinds, one from each side of the spine.
And one edge is sharpened, the other a false edge.
But a false edge can still pinch.

Your idea of a kris with a top spine seems pretty original to me.
I would of never of even imagined that.
Please give us an update later after you’ve handled/flipped it for a while and give us a review.

seen the blade style before ,,they called it the serpent,,looks like a kris with a flat top ,,only see 2 in my life and they were fixed blades , I think they were made for a special task and were old as shit .

Well i picked it up yesterday so after I've flipped it for a week or so I'll write up a review.

When I was about 15 a friends father gave me a fixed blade Kriss that was handmade.

It had a swedge on about a third of the spine. That'ssort if what I was thinking ofwith the single edge.

The specific design for this one was all Nathans interpretation of me saying "single edged Kriss". It's pretty unique.

His work does it a lot more justice than my words.

Only seen two in your life, even for fixed blades?
So it is a pretty rare / novel idea!

The middle one has a very interesting profile.

You don't see manila latches much either. I imagine for an edc like that it would be pretty practical.

The Kris is definitely unique sir, but honestly can't put down this prototype deviant lately. Feels so good, and the little flaws only make it that much more appealing.

Thanks for providing sweet knives at a sweet price point. And for the awesome communication Nathan!
