The grind seems to be very clean, looking good Ben! Not a fan of acrylic, but I'm sure it will look good.

Day 6. Scale glued. (picture later). and regrind the rust point...

some day in the workshop without oil protection, and the blade had rust point.... it's a bit wet in the workshop :D. I regrinded a bit the blade and now everything is clean.

When your ferric chloride bottle fall in the ground and bursted everywhere, it's time to go up stairs at home.....

Not a lot of work yesterday:cry:

    Day 7 : 2 hours of work

I put the scale and drilled the first hole in the guard.

    Some hole

Some band saw and 60 grit belt work.

Oups the epoxy wasn't very strong.... Not a problem it's easier to dremel shape and sand a bit :D

It's the beginning of something not bad :D

    I annealed the ta6v4 pins

Epoxied and pinned. If something move, i will be very surprised :D.

Next work session, i think i will be able to complete that knife :D

    Days 8 2h30
    [IMG]
Some grinder work and some sand paper
    [IMG]
    Not bad wit grit 400
    [IMG]
Grit 320 with nylon abrasive wheel, and some buffering time :D
    [IMG]
    Not bad
    [IMG]
Some oil before the good final picture.

Kirinite and abs are a pain during buffering because they are really softer than the G10 or micarta and if you stay a bit too long at a spot , steel and handle are no more in the same line....
