thanks. She'll be going for her last surgery (hopefully, fingers crossed) on the 19th of this month. It'll be a year since the accident on Feb. 18th.

My next car will be a compact of some sort. I drive a lot for the new job & I need something that gets better gas mileage than my Nissan Truck. The Honda Fit & the Toyota Yaris were just too small when I looked at them. Smallest I will go will be a Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic size.

I have nothing against small gas efficient cars, in fact I am for them. The problem is when you are on the road with much bigger vehicles.

I downgraded to a Fit after my motorcycle accident. I feel as safe in it as I did on my bike.

But nobody makes it out of that pic ok.

The Corolla might be more robust as far as collision survival, but I would take the Civic for overall quality in the two choices. (I tow for both a Honda and a Toyota dealership)
