We had a scuzzbag tenant who left a commercial space a lot like that - they had a kegger to celebrate going tits-up (no pics on this, sorry) and the smell of open beers left in a closed office with 6-foot windows gets amazing even after a single weekend.
The townhouse literally would need to be burned after that many years - I think the guy was importing cans.
