Hanoi Jane

I rarely get behind things like this. BUT this one I fully support.

IF YOU NEVER FORWARDED ANYTHING IN YOU LIFE, FORWARD THIS SO THAT EVERYONEWILL KNOW!!!!!!
She really was a traitor

A TRAITOR IS ABOUT TO BE HONORED
KEEP THIS MOVING ACROSS AMERICA

This is for all the kids born in the 70's who do
not remember, and didn't have to bear the
burden that our fathers, mothers and older
brothers and sisters had to bear.

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the
"100 Women of the Century."

BY BARBRA WALTERS

Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still
countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country,
but specific men who served and sacrificed
during Vietnam.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot

The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.

In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF
Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison
the "Hanoi Hilton."

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell,
cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was
ordered to describe for a visiting American
"Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane
treatment" he'd received.

He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was
dragged away.
During the subsequent beating, he fell forward
on to the camp Commandant's feet, which
sent that officer berserk.

n 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from
double vision (which permanently ended his
flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied
application of a wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the
47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the
"Hanoi Hilton",,, the first three of which his
family only knew he was "missing in action".
His wife lived on faith that he was still alive.
His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and
clothed routine in preparation for a
"peace delegation" visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to
get word to the world that they were alive
and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny
piece of paper, with his Social Security Number
on it, in the palm of his hand.

When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a
cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each
man's hand and asking little encouraging
snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed
babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane
treatment from your benevolent captors?"
Believing this HAD to be an act, they each
palmed her their sliver of paper.
She took them all without missing a beat. At the
end of the line and once the camera stopped
rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs,
she turned to the officer in charge and handed
him all the little pieces of paper.

Three men died from the subsequent beatings.
Colonel Carrigan was almost number four
but he survived, which is the only reason we
know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor
in Vietnam, and was captured by the North
Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in
1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one
year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year
in a "black box" in Hanoi.
My North Vietnamese captors deliberately
poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a
nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South
Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the
Cambodia border.
At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. &n bsp;
(My normal weight is 170 lbs.)

We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by
the camp communist political officer if I would
be willing to meet with her.
I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real
treatment we POWs received... and how
different it was from the treatment purported by
the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as
"humane and lenient."

Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky
floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched
with a large steel weights placed on my hands,
and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda
soon after I was released. I asked her
if she would be willing to debate me on TV.
She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify
someone who should be honored as part
of "100 Years of Great Women."
Lest we forget..." 100 Years of Great Women"
should never include a traitor whose hands are
covered with the blood of so many patriots.
There are few things I have strong visceral
reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in
blatant treason, is one of them.
Please take the time to forward to as many
people as you possibly can.
It will eventually end up on her computer and
she needs to know that we will never forget.

PLEASE HELP BY SENDING THIS TO
EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. IF
ENOUGH PEOPLE SEE THIS MAYBE HER
STATUS WILL CHANGE

I can't stand Jane Fonda, personally; but, wasn't this proven to be a hoax by Snopes?

As a veteran of Vietnam I find Jane Fonda to be the lowest POS ever to inhabit this planet. There is no doubt in my mind that she caused the death of some of my fellow soldiers through her actions.

She is a flaming c-word, plain and simple. She should be deported to Viet Nam ot hung for treason, not honored as one of the "100 Women of the Century" My father served three tours in Viet Nam, so this bitch has always struck a nerve with me.

Hanoi'd with Jane

according to snopes.com as linked above some of the specific stories in the email were incorrect or invented.

however read the article and you will see that she was guilty of the same actions in similar circumstances to those described.

emailing your friends will not stop the "honor" though since the book has already been published -- this is an old rant against her.

One man who didn't take Fonda's confessions to heart was 54-year-old Michael Smith. While Fonda was autographing copies of her autobiography, My Life So Far, in Kansas City in April 2005 as part of a promotional book-signing tour, Smith, who said he was a Vietnam veteran, waited in line for 90 minutes and then spat tobacco juice on Fonda.
unlike michael smith, i wouldn't waste spit on the bitch.

Jane Fonda was a well known movie actress / war protester who was used by the North Vietnamese as an unknowledgeable shill! She fell for their lies... hook, line & sinker! How she was allowed to go to Viet Nam in the first place stumps me and why she was allowed back into the country totally amazes me!
It’s taken 9 different dogs and 65 long years to make

I understand and respect the opinions of people who consider the woman a traitor, but I put a lot of stock in my own father's opinion: she may've had a foolishly one-sided view of the war, and have ignored obvious signs of the VC's guilt, but he was over there fighting for the values of the United States Constitution, and those values include the right to criticise your government and its agents, and the right to say stupid things.

In my opinion, it's just like flag-burning: the test of our commitment to freedom is in how well we respect the right of people we despise.

She went to the capital of our enemy during war time and gave hope and encouragement to the enemy with her anti-American views. She is a traitor and should always be treated like one.

i respect their right to express their opinions. i do not have to respect those opinions. she has no right to expect that expressing her opinions will carry no consequences.

the first amendment protects citizens from prior restraint by their govenment. it is not a barrier to countervailing opinion and subsequent action by other citizens.

freedom of expression has three benefits.

1) it allows the free flow of ideas which support creativity in a society.
2) it allows each citizen to influence society in support of his beliefs.
3) it allows society to learn what ideas are current instead of forcing subversion underground.

rights and responsibility are two sides of one coin. citizens who expect their rights but fail to exercise them responsibly are violating this aspect of the social contract.

there was a time people understood what it meant to say "politics stops at the waters edge".

Make no mistake what she did. She broadcast anti-American propaganda on Radio Hanoi. She did photo-ops with Vietnamese soldiers. She participated in a staged visit with American POW's to prove they were not being mistreated. When these POWs were finally released years later and described their mistreatment at the hands of the North Vietnamese she described them as hypocrites and liars. She sat, wearing a military helmet, in the seat of an anti-aircraft gun that was there to shoot down US planes..
She is a traitorous slut that should of went to prison.

Unhappy

I am not military, but I can assure you, she may have been tricked?.......but admit your faults and take credit for your actions.

Has she ever apologized? Would any soldier *in his right mind* accept that apology? I would NOT.:jdwink:

I dont think many things are important in life but being accountable is one of my pet peeves!

I agree 100% with ciliapepper on this one, while agreeing with grover_cephas as well.

This is America {virtual America. OK I know} but fuck her very well in her ass! That is my opinion and I am using my rights to declare it.

Where are the pics of some other dummy like Jessica Simpson in an Iraqui or Afghanistan officer's uniform?

Another Hollywood asshole with money, and twisted ideas.

Was she allowed to come back to the states because of her father? Did he have any sway, he was one of the icons of his time.
