break in a new leather holster?

Just got a new holster and its a little too tight. Do I just have to keep using it or Is there a quicker way to break in the leather? Its an OWB,Belt carry style. Any help or tricks will gladly be appreciated. Thanks Devils.....

you try a leather conditioner?

i did that with a don hume i picked up
that was a little grabby.

try putting that baby in a plastic bag or clingwrap and inserting into holster. wear it. the leather should stretch if its not right after the first time repeat with another layer of bag or wrap. do this until its right. dont soften the leather.

i just had some lanolin based stuff that brought some of my leather jackets back from the dead. it was a liquid. saddle soap is a solid no?

Wax paper/ baking paper, whatever it's called, wrap it wax side out around the gun, I usually do one layer, never more than two. Insert the wrapped gun into the holster, and throw it under the mattress overnight. Make sure not to overwrap the gun. or your holster might be too loose.

I placed my pistol into a plastic grocery bag. Then I placed the combination into the holster, and left it in overnight. Check to see how it fits. If it's still tight, do it again.

I did this for my Galco Summer Comfort for the Glock 23.

I've always used one layer of wax paper wrapped around the gun. Insert the gun in the holster and just let it sit for a couple of days. Good luck.
