Apparently from a Korean(yes I know that Korea's not exactly Southeast Asia but this reminded me of a lot of the Thai movies) flik called Man from Nowhere.

Here's a cool one. I saw this clip a while back and hunted down the DVD. This scene is a work of art but......the movie is soooooofa king stupid. Tony Jaa.....

Basically.....they pissed this guy off by stealing his elephant.....yep....they stole his elephant...apparently you just don't do that to a fella in Thailand.

At least in the Korean flik it's clear the bad guys removed the eyes of someone the good guy cared about.

yea Ong Bak that was what The Protector was called in Thailand. Never watced any of the others. They all seem centered around a boy and his elephant.

Dude.....I'm on the hunt for it too. I think its probably good even if I can't find a sub'd copy. Word is that it's basically a Korean version of Man on Fire. A lot of it is on youtube and there seems to be a few other awesome fight scenes.

Ok.....

Whoever choreographed the fight scenes in this movie is like the Michelangelo of ass kicking. This is officially the undisputed king of knife fighting action movies. Many deserving bad guys get the shit stabbed put of them. How many times do you get to see an all out brawl in a bathroom stall whilst tripping over a dead hooker....i wasn't tripping over the hooker I mean the guys in the movie. I think it was rated like PG 42 or something. Just finished and I'd watch it again. Didn't even get bugged by the fact that it was subtitled.
