yes he made one but he got side tracked with a sword order. the sample is still on the bench. when he has some free time he will finish it.

i had this sent to me from a customer in Europe and they said it was retailing for 1500 usd. i said well its cheap but we can make a few.

if anyone is interested let me know as we will make a few when time allows. i have the bamboo hand picked by master chen ready and drying. he said it takes a special bamboo and we got it.

I like it. I like the handle. Usually the handles are wrapped, but I think I like that design better. I have big hands and that grip is nice. I'm very interested in seeing the one on his bench whenever its completed.

i got all sizes of bamboo i can use. tell me what diameter you want and i can fit it to that for you. master chen knows bamboo and i have read that there is many kinds but each one had different traits just like steel has many kinds. he says we have the good kind for this application. it might not taste as good if cooked in with some Chinese veggies but for a handle he says nothing is better.
