You lurk for a while and decide that you wish to join OUR community. Whether you want to buy something in our illustrious for sale areas or you wish to learn/ask something.

You click on the register link. It asks you to fill in certain information about yourself. Then you are asked to agree to a smidgen of the rules here. If you do agree your account is created.

Next an email is dispatched to the email address that you provided. IN THAT EMAIL are a few things that you must do in order to activate your account. The SINGLE MOST overlooked one is the polite request to post an introduction thread with a link to said area of The Mighty JD.

Now next in the scheme of things, or chain of events, once you click on the link to activate said account a private message from yours truly is *instantly* sent to you, containing another polite request to post an introductory thread and also, yet again, containing a link to said area of The Mighty JD.

If you rush to post something for sale, or to attempt to buy something first.....you will be dealt with. Swiftly and sometimes severely.

NO ONE charges you to post here and you are not owed anything, at all, PERIOD. Everyone is in the same standing here as long as they follow the rules. Post counts, time on the forum etc. do not mean as much as one might think.

We agree that having rules sucks, but folks have completely fucked it up for the rest of us. We do the very best that we can in order to provide you, the end user, OUR members with the best possible experience that we can.

So in closing, stay safe, do your homework (read the posted rules, stickies etc.) and be one of us. We are the best, the CHAMPIONS, and we know it.
