So its been a rough week.

Got laid off last tuesday and my parents found out my aunt had cancer and didnt want to stress me out... well she died saturday. This is the wife of my favorite uncle who taught me to shoot, and why most people called me "Little Ben" growing up (uncle was Big Ben). Pretty shitty week.

On the bright side, I wont be working the night shift anymore and I will have more time to browse the JD, spend time w/ my uncle, and fuck w/ Ron.

It was a late diagnosis and got her in less than a week. She was a heavy smoker and lived to be 82 so I really cant complain, I just feel bad for my uncle. They never had children so my brother and I are the closest they came to having any.

Not too worried about the job, im in better shape than most, but I could use some good news right about now. 2011 has been a bitch so far.

Spend as much time with your uncle as he will let you. Let him have the opportunity to have space, but go hang out with him. Talk about those old memories, go shooting, show him your knife collection, and be there for him(and him for you). Seems like the perfect timing, and maybe that's why you are getting a little "break". You will find a new job. Don't sweat that. Collect for a little while. What the fuck. Everyone else does.... Benny, sorry to hear about your aunt and hope that you find another job soon. Not trying to hijack your post but I found my ex wife dead last Sunday night. I talked to her 30 minutes before and she was fine. We had two sons and they were with her but they saw nothing. I hate dealing with change but find it the only constant in the universe.

As for your newfound unemployment join the club when i started at the end of Nov. i thought i had a 1/2 a year of work lined up and i got laid off 2 days before new years
