I bought this one to carry, and it is a really sweet flipper, but I just landed a really cool Haddock, which for me is a little more carry friendly.
I bought this one as new, but when I received it, I noticed there was a very light patina on the top ti scale and a couple of hairline marks on the clip. That wasn't an issue, as I intended to carry it, and that I did for about 2 weeks. (until the Haddock came along...) The patina I mentioned is the only flaw on this knife, and I couldn't get it to turn up in pics.. The blade is spotless, hair popping sharp, and has a perfect handrubbed finish. I would rate this knife conservatively at 96-97% conditon, and I'm sure it could be restored to 100% in about 10 seconds in the bead blaster back at the spa in Hawaii. Lockup is solid, and early. Flipper action is perfect, no wrist required. Detent is set up nicely as well, and the lock releases easily. What else can I say, this is a sweet knife.
