    Hi Al!

I'm using it to freshen the belt. Seams like a little life comes back to the belts when you run the front edge of hardened steel across them. In a few weeks there will be nothing left of it

    you are so correct

I can tell a difference when it's been awhile since I did any grinding

I'm kinda envious of the full time guys who get to keep their skills up by practicing more often than me

When you can't run anymore, you crawl

if you can't crawl, you find somebody to carry you.

Me too! One day hopefully at least a few years before I kick off, I will spend my days in the shop. That would be the perfect retirement.

    Scales!

Everything cut, shaped, dry fit and ready to glue up....

Next day after epoxy has set...scales flattened and shaped to tang....

    Grooved and a couple tumbled,

A couple shots of the give-away knife almost finished...

Wont be too much longer and I'll ship it to the winner!

    Thanks for looking!

Art is like that, you can get rusty (no pun intended). The up side is you can also start to get in the groove and just fly....
