Extremely cute frogs on my patio

We've had tree frogs peeping for several days now, and it stormed tonight. I noticed that some of the frogs came up on the patio, and I got some nice pix. Here they are... these little guys are smaller than a quarter. You'll notice the edge of a quarter in one of the pix, and that the some of the frogs have birdseed stuck to them.

While your pictures show these little guys to be cute and charming... a word of caution... don't fall asleep near where the 'peepers' congregate! They have been known to 'peep' people into a trance like state then devour their victim!

Damn, Inkster, is that from for real? What kind is it? It looks like a freaking magic frog or something. Have you ever tried licking it? (reference to psychedelic frogs for those who don't realize why I am asking)

You eat a lot more frogs and snails and stuff in France, no? (I'm ignoring the other possible, perhaps offensive "frog" reference.)

    Wink

There's no offense at all for me.... And guess what ???!!!... I like that word : "frog"......
Yes, we eat frogs, but just the legs (while in Asia, they eat the complete frog...). Sauteed with garlic and parsely, and with a good white wine or even a cold beer, it's good....... Long times ago, that meal was called in my country "The poorman's chicken"....... And now, if you want to eat fresh frog's legs, you're about to spend between 45 and 55 euros (at least 55 american dollars....). As you see, times have changed.....
The guys from Canton (China) always say : "We eat everything that is coming or going on earth, except humans... and everything that flies in the sky... except planes.....": :

Inkster, I'm dying to know more about that frog. I printed a pic for my wife, and she fell in love with it. "That's so ADORABLE!" was her line.

Little sucker just looks like he's gonna start talking. Best frog pic I ever remember seeing. (not that I remember seeing many)
