I figured since my Brother is a Photographer, I should at least use him instead of fumbling with my camera.

but not every man truly lives
I actually like your photo better. Much better background and certainly clear enough.
Goodstuff.
Always nice to recognize the photographer for the art they can do.
I like yours better. great knife.
I have no idea what hammer time is. . . or how it differs from regular time.

Another vote for your photo. I like the way that the blade looks in your pic. It appears to show more detail. Your brothers shot looks distant to me, though as Stabber said, he brought the wood to life.
Maybe a photoshop opportunity to blend handle and blade?
Either way, nice work!
I'm going to guess that all of your failures prior to the "revolution" will pale in comparison to how hard your life will be afterward. You will not rise to the occasion. If you can't succeed in a structured, ordered society, you will continue to fail miserably when winning friends and influencing people becomes vitally important.
Great knife and pics

Which photo looks more like the knife in real life? I tend to think yours may be more realistic, so that's why I like yours better. Your brother's picture looks more "artistic", so may enhance aspects of the knife.
For instance, I prefer the less artistic version of the gal below, that is the one with freckles and all.
all da best,

There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying? We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little rat-bastards!
Your shot better shows the angles of the grinds, and has a neutral backdrop that doesn't detract from the knife.
If you don't have one already, you should build one of these: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...ighlight=light You can get great pics with little effort.
Second thing is the photoshop doesn't work- the background is distracting, the knife pics look like they are hovering unnaturally.
