the show is based on a comic book of the same name, that started right after the collapse of society. it follows different characters, trying to make their way through the country without getting eaten. it looks like the series is going to follow the source material pretty closely, at least for the first season.

Excellent, a new series to watch this winter. I see they have some pretty hefty names attached to it so the quality should be decent. Fingers crossed for this one.

I wasn't expecting too much from a Zombie TV series, but was very impressed with the first episode. The special effects were a LOT better than half the movies that have come around the past few years. Especially the first "half" zombie you see in the park. They did an excellent job on that one!
