Nope couldn't make it to the finish line. My blade is still away being heat treated which was my fault for not giving the guy enough time.

I was trying to make good headway on the handle when I realized that the thin titanium liner was anything but flat. It was enough to see some light between it and the carbon fiber. After hand lapping it for a while, I figured it would be quicker to make a new one from scratch.



Everything was profiled, drilled and tapped. I had started to profile the CF side too. Edit- that's a CF backspacer on the right as well.



Ah well. Someone had to screw the pooch this year.
