I've been collecting MT blades since 1996. My collection consisted of over 30 high end custom pieces, several were one of a kind. Sadly, do to economic reasons, I've had to sell my collection....and many years later, I find myself starting up again. I had a choice, sell the firearms....or sell the steel. Well, I hope that I'm never put in that situation again.

Hi guys,

My name is Harry, I've been a MAD Microtech collector since the late 90s. I'm not new here, I thought I made an intro a few years back, but I had not. I'm a professional body builder and personal trainer, and an avid 1911 collector. When I had kids, I had two choices....sell the guns, or sell the knives. Well, I kept my 1911s. Now I see some of my knives on boards being sold for 2-3 times what I originally paid for them.

Anyway, I had a total of 32 pieces in my collection, most of which I had to sell to help feed my kids. I now only have 6 pieces in my collection. My placed was robbed and I lost most of what I own not long ago...so I just recently placed a thread in the WTB section, looking for an old school grind Microtech SOCOM MA with a tanto blade and plain edge. I had one for 11 years and it was my EDC, I don't like the newer SOCOMs so I'm back here trying to find an older one. Thought I found one, until the seller turned out to be a scammer and almost took me for $200. Thanks! And pardon my long and overdue intro.
