Ernie Swanson ~ 2010 Halloween Build Off ~ Fixed Blade

This is my first time taking part in a JD build off, I hope I don't let you all down too bad

I started drawing up my entry last night, After I got the 1st draft sketch done, I looked at it and a name popped into my head

    " The Tazmanian"
    Yep thats right

Here is a pic of my drawing, Comments welcome

I am thinking Some 3/16'' or 5/32'' 1095, mirror finished for a little shazzam, ss pins and thong tube, and red and black micarta scales.

    I like your approach.
More traditional , but with enough eye candy to make it art.
That , and I am a huge fan of the H.P. blade.
Can't wait to see this one finished.

    Time for some bevel action?

  12. #12
    Sorry for the delay!!

I got the bevels ground and hand sanded. Its taking me a while to hand sand because I have tennis elbow and can only do it for about an hour at a time.

Here are a couple more pics
